Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) is dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across all district programs, initiatives, and institutional practices. ODEI works to cultivate a welcoming and innovative environment where employees and students experience a strong sense of belonging and psychological safety, and where diverse perspectives are recognized as essential to excellence and growth.
Grounded in a commitment to equity, ODEI actively identifies and addresses systemic barriers that may limit access, opportunity, and professional advancement. The office partners with departments and stakeholders across the district to promote equitable practices, foster inclusive workplace culture, and support the success and well-being of all employees.
ODEI serves as a central resource by providing access to relevant information, professional development, and training that strengthens cultural competency and promotes inclusive leadership. Through education, collaboration, and advocacy, the office cultivates community, empowers employees, and supports efforts that advance fairness, respect, and accountability throughout the district.
As the district continues to evolve, ODEI remains committed to supporting employee and student needs, promoting equity-minded practices, and helping to build a workplace where every individual is valued, supported, and positioned to thrive.
