A leader in higher education and workforce training, the Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD)  together with its two colleges, Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College is dedicated to ensuring equitable access and academic excellence through data-informed planning. The Enrollment Management Dashboards provide district and college leaders with real-time insights into student enrollment, FTES progress, and headcount trends. These tools support evidence-based decision-making, resource allocation, and continuous improvement across instructional programs.

Explore the three dashboards below to gain a comprehensive view of enrollment dynamics across RSCCD:

Monitor daily trends in FTES, enrollment, fill rate, and section activity for college credit programs. Compare current performance against prior semesters to identify shifts in student demand and retention.

Being able to provide the right mix of course offerings to our students requires looking at data from various perspectives.  Using daily enrollment data, this dashboard helps users/decision-makers not only to track and predict changing student demand but also realign resources to meet changing enrollment patterns.  The dashboard provides the much needed data to make well-informed resource decisions and a more efficient way of reviewing data for courses offered, enrollment, fill rate, section offered, trend analysis, as well as comparisons to past academic years.

As you navigate, interact and manipulate the data, be mindful of the results and its parameters as you interpret your findings.  Please note the sources of data and when data was populated to create these tables, as well as any specific notations used in creating these visuals; therefore, comparisons among different sources should be used with caution.  Should you have questions or concerns, please contact our office at (714) 480-7468 or Tyler Nguyen at (714) 480-7469 for assistance.

Analyze FTES and enrollment across credit and noncredit programs by funding type. Use this dashboard to evaluate growth patterns, resource allocation, and program performance.

Definition:

  • Retention Rate = active enrollment / census enrollment
  • Fill Rate = census enrollment / section capacity; the aggregate  fill rate is computed by the average fill rate of each section (weighting all sections equally)
  • Efficiency = Census Resident FTES / FTEF

Notes:

Not all sections start on the same reporting term, please use the "same term section" to filter for the sections that start on the same reporting term
