Welcome to the Santiago Canyon College Child Development Center
At the Santiago Canyon College Child Development Center (SCC CDC), we are proud to provide a nurturing, high-quality early learning environment for children ages 18 months to 5 years. Our program is NAEYC accredited, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards in early childhood education and continuous quality improvement.
Our full-day toddler and preschool programs are grounded in developmentally appropriate practice, supporting each child’s growth through hands-on exploration, meaningful relationships, and engaging learning experiences. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering families a dependable and caring place for their children to learn and thrive.
In our center, children are actively engaged in intentional, play-based learning that supports the whole child. Through rich learning experiences—including early literacy and language development, foundational math concepts, science exploration, creative expression, and social-emotional learning—children build critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Our educators use observation and assessment to guide intentional teaching, planning meaningful activities that build on each child’s interests and developmental stage. Children are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, collaborate with peers, and develop independence, creating a strong foundation for kindergarten readiness and lifelong learning.
We take pride in creating a warm, inclusive community where children and families feel welcomed, supported, and valued.
We welcome you to visit and experience SCC CDC in person.
