Public Affairs and Communications helps share the story of the Rancho Santiago Community College District with clarity, purpose, and care. Our work supports districtwide communication efforts that keep students, employees, community members, partners, and the public informed and connected.

From district announcements and internal messages to news stories, media inquiries, public information, and community updates, our team helps ensure that RSCCD communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with the district’s mission and priorities.

 

How We Can Help

Our team provides support for a wide range of communication needs, including district news, employee communications, public-facing announcements, media relations, talking points, feature stories, website content, newsletters, social media messaging, and crisis or sensitive communications.

We work with departments, colleges, programs, and district leadership to help shape messages that are clear, thoughtful, and appropriate for the intended audience. Whether you are sharing an important update, promoting a district initiative, highlighting student or employee success, or preparing information for the public, our team can help guide the message and determine the best way to share it.

 

Government and Community Affairs

Public Affairs and Communications also supports efforts related to government and community affairs. This may include helping communicate district priorities, preparing materials for elected officials or community partners, supporting public-facing initiatives, and helping ensure that RSCCD’s work is clearly represented to the broader community.

Our goal is to strengthen understanding of the district’s impact, build trust with the communities we serve, and support meaningful connections with local, regional, and state partners.
